Wonderful buyers with whom I've worked on 4 different occasions to help them buy and sell, began looking last year about this time. I was in Texas at the time and chatted with my client who exclaimed, "I found the perfect home!"
You know, I'm SUCH the salesman, I retorted, "Wait! You LIVE in the perfect home!"
Downsizing was on their minds since their oldest was soon to leave the nest. So, since I was out of town, my assistant showed them the house, which turned out to be less than perfect - and not in SouthPark where they REALLY wanted to reside!
Fast-forward a year later and only having seen 5 or 6 homes during the course of the year, I arrived early at this home to turn on lights and be prepared for the buyers when they arrived. I walked in and thought, "Oh my gosh, this is it!"
My clients arrived and stopped dead in their tracks in the foyer; the wife exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, this is IT!" They couldn't get their checkbook out quickly enough - our Offer was the first of 7 to the table! Yes, we had to up the ante a bit but, honestly, the perfect home was worth every penny of it...which they've said repeatedly as well!
Their new home in SouthPark is on a beautiful street with wonderful neighbors and has all of the bells and whistles they wanted - the appointments are absolutely top-of-the-line and the setting is breathtaking!
We Closed on their lovely new home on Friday and, it seems that they're already pretty much settled in for the holiday. It doesn't get any better than this - finding the perfect home for wonderful repeat buyers...in SouthPark!
