Sharing Passions & Commitment - What’s Yours?
Most of you know that I live, breathe, work and play in real estate! Real estate is the passion that takes up the most time in my life. I wake up in the morning, review the people & things for which I am most grateful and hit the ground, running--to follow the day's business plan and make others happy!
I am passionate about returning emails, phone calls & texts—I suppose that is more of a pet-peeve more than a passion but, it’s something that I feel is important! I want to make people feel acknowledged, feel good and know that someone cares; it doesn't feel good to send an email or a text or place a phone call with no response from the recipient.
Making sure that all details are attended to is another passion. Quite possibly to a fault, I make sure that nothing is missed on contracts or inspections that would cause anyone to suffer even the slightest bit of angst. It is my duty as a Realtor® to make certain that my clients are 100% satisfied and I take my duty seriously--from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night. I do have to sleep at night and if someone is not happy about something related to their real estate transaction, I am not going to sleep.
You see, we are in a relationship business. Despite the fact that we preach to our clients that when negotiating, to treat this as a business transaction, there are still emotions involved. Whether those emotions are directed towards the transaction itself or to us, as their representatives, the emotions are present. Being passionate about making others feel positive, respected, acknowledged and cared for, can ignite not only your business but, you!
