Friday Diary of a Charlotte Real Estate Agent - 30JUN17
In preparation of a long holiday weekend, I believe that every single one of my buyer and seller clients raised their hands this week...even those buyers who haven't looked at homes in several months! So, needless to say, some of those raised hands made Offers, others will resume their search after the long weekend...and otherwise, it was a week of business-as-usual!
The Low Appraisal Bug passed us by this week (THANK GOD!) but, with two appraisal issues on the table from last week, one has been resolved (another THANK GOD!)! I've learned that rebuttals can be challenged - again - and that if the squeaky wheel continues to squeak, things CAN, indeed, work out for the clients. I'm exhausted from 'fighting' but, hey, if it helped my clients, it was certainly well-worth it!
Four different buyers, sellers and sellers who also purchase homes, Closed this week! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL!! We are thrilled for each and every one of these wonderful clients! How blessed are to have the most incredible referrals and repeat clients?
While accelerating a complaint with one of the large banks because of a back-burner lender (not my referral!), to my wondering eyes did appear, a family of deer in my backyard! I wrapped up my call, grabbed a few apples and headed to my backyard to feed them and of course, film them! They are becoming quite tame and truly, so relaxing to watch.
And, for the record, the bank acceleration actually was what we needed to get the major bank to Close ON TIME this week on one of our transactions.
Did I say, it helps to be the squeaky wheel?!
In closing this week, here's a little something to ponder in light of the upcoming holiday. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Independence Day!
