Charlotte Real Estate Market Report | Uptown Third Ward

Charlotte’s Third Ward Offers so much more to residents than you can possibly imagine;  Uptown Charlotte Third Ward simply has it all!  Third Ward includes a sports and entertainment area focused on Bank of America Stadium and a planned AAA baseball stadium with a 5-acre park.  If you’re into an unbelievable culinary experience, fabulous restaurants, all within walking distance, are plentiful, including Charlotte’s prized Johnson & Wales University.

Third Ward Uptown Charlotte‘s residential neighborhoods are a mix of single-family homes, apartments and condominiums, with dozens of new developments planned, under construction and nearing completion.  Anchoring the west side of Third Ward is Bank of America’s new 1.5 million square foot mixed use complex called Gateway Village.  This innovative complex combines technology-oriented office space, over 500 residential units, a public park and is surrounded by lots of nifty shops and a variety of restaurants.

Two bedroom, two bath condos are the most sought-after in the Uptown Charlotte Third Ward area.  Here is the most recent market absorption trend for the area.  The Third Ward real estate market absorption trend continues to reflect a flat market in the entire Uptown area.  Homes are moving but, slowly; the good news…despite slow sales in the area, the supply is decreasing with fewer added condos coming on the market, giving time for those currently on the market to move and interest rates remain at near-historic lows.

Charlotte Real Estate Market Report | Myers Park September, 2011

There is no better introduction to Charlotte NC than a tour through historic Myers Park, via Queens Road.  Here, some of the city’s grandest homes are framed by a canopy of massive, old willow oaks.  Myers Park Charlotte NC emerged from a large cotton farm in 1911, and has grown to be one of the most popular communities in which to reside in all of Charlotte.

Home values in Myers Park typically lead the way in appreciation.  During the recession, Myers Park was affected but, not to the degree that other Charlotte neighborhoods were.   Homes in Myers Park Charlotte NC retain their value over the years and routinely show steady but, never over-inflated appreciation.   A Myers Park address remains one of the most sought-after in the city!
