What’s the Charlotte NC real estate market doing this week?

The NCAA is not the only action going on this weekend!  Thinking of watching the Sweet 16 and then doing a little leisurely Charlotte house hunting this weekend?   You may quickly realize that you’ve got to step up your game in order to win the bid on that perfect home for yourself!  The Charlotte real estate market has been absolutely insane for buyers this week–multiple Offer situations with some of our relocation clients missing properties that have gone under Contract before they can even head out to view the houses!

 

A quick glance at the Charlotte real estate market will tell the story:

• Currently there are 3,432 single family homes for sale in the city of Charlotte
• In the past WEEK, 365 single family homes went under Contract!
• 161 single family homes Closed during the past 7 days
• There are currently 1,145 condos and townhomes for sale in the city of Charlotte
• 80 Charlotte condos and townhomes went into Escrow during the past WEEK
• During the past 7 days, 44 Charlotte condos and townhomes Closed!

The real estate market in Charlotte was anything but, SCARRY this Halloween week of 2011!  Savvy Charlotte home buyers and sellers have more good news to share on the ‘home front!’   Despite the fall season, Charlotte continues showing a significant positive movement towards the real estate recovery.

Remember sellers, if you price it right, it WILL sell!  Congratulations to my sellers in Olde Providence, who have quickly gone under Contract!  The sellers ‘thought like a real estate agent‘ and priced the home properly, staged the home beautifully and truly had the home READY for the market.
