Buying a home used to be such a celebrated event. It was a sign of growing up and “getting somewhere” in life. Yet, tell someone you bought Charlotte real estate now days and you might just get wide eyes and a, “You did WHAT?”

Of course the media claims that home prices may decline even more, remember the key word here is “may.” The experts can predict all they want, but you don’t know for sure until it happens. None of them own a crystal ball, that's for sure! Buyers have been checking the prices, weighed their decision on “what if the prices start rising again” and signed on the dotted line.
- The Charlotte job market is leading the way nationally--consumer confidence is up as is consumer spending.
