UPtown Charlotte NC - Live, Work and Play Here

Home to a multitude of cultural arts as well as two professional sports teams, the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte NC has enjoyed one of the fastest growing  center cities in America.  Upscale, upbeat Uptown restaurants abound, with world-renowned chefs “at every turn” and even Johnson and Wales culinary school calls Uptown Charlotte NC home!

Many professionals call Charlotte NC Uptown home and enjoy the convenience of avoiding traffic to and from the suburbs, ultimately affording them more hours in every day.    Uptown is home to private, as well as public schools in Charlotte NC, giving rise to an increase in family living in the center city as well.   Retirees find Uptown’s cultural events and fabulous restaurants a draw for them.  Many uptown residents do not even own automobiles, using the trolley system, LYNX (our light rail system) and CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System-bus) to travel to far reaching destinations.

Many skyscraper condo complexes with fabulous high-tech amenities are available in Charlotte NC's Uptown area.  Savor the lifestyle as you do your Starbuck’s coffee following your morning stroll in Uptown Charlotte - while others are making the morning commute!   As Charlotte grows vertically, there remain complexes that are in the planning stages;  some are nearly complete and of course there are a variety of home and condo styles currently available for those relocating to Uptown Charlotte NC.

Take a look into the future with a view of Charlotte’s impressive skyline—picture yourself as a part of our ever-changing, ever-growing home!  We’d love to have you!

I really enjoyed your slideshow. What an impressive skyline. That's what we are missing here in Daytona Beach. The variety

One thing I can say is that your blog never ceases to amaze me.  Your video presentation of the Charlotte is awesome.

Jon: Thanks on both accounts!  I drive towards the center city from the south and always wish I had the ability to have a camera mounted to the top of my car--the view is just beautiful!  What the city has done for our Uptown is a complete revitalization and we love all of the vertical living and office space that this revitalization brought us--really quite impressive!

C. Lloyd:  Thank you so much!  I not only have a passion for real estate but, just LOVE this city!  It's an awesome place to live, work and play!

I love Charlotte.  I even remember the lovely outlet mall just north of the town.  Lived there for a few months back in 2001.
