Great Charlotte post Debe. I love the scrolling market report. If you don't mind sharing, what did you use to produce that?
Great...GREAT post about your community and I love the way your NC Residential Report not only looks but the way it displays! I have to bookmark as another fabulous idea to duplicate in Austin! Thanks for stopping by my blog and i will be back as soon as I get some "free" time ;-)
Fabulous. Great information for consumers. I love the demographics. This is exceptional.
I need ot get to work.
Cool...I am glad to see this featured, you are the best at producing beautifully written and displayed market reports! Rock on my friend!
Nice looking report with lots of facts and figures. Is this entirely produced by you, or are the first three pages from your MLS or office and then agent's add content for the fourth page?
You forgot, No. 1 Realtor, Debe Maxwell! Fabulous report, Debe. Again, I am in awe.
I like the #2 city for entrepreneurs. I think that small business is our best hope for any signs of recovery.
Good morning Debe,
This is awsome!! Sensational report and I'm with Jane I'm in awe!!!
Great information!
Hi Debe... its an excellent way to present the data for your community. I would like to produce the data for my community in the same way you have. Would you share how was it put together? Thanks.
Very nicely done, Debe. Great information, beautifully presented, of great value to consumers.
The bullet points of highlights and demographics is a great idea - I'm sure it requires lots of research but it's worth the effort. I think I would like living in Charlotte!
Barb--The report is done in MS Publisher and then saved as a .pdf, then uploaded into Issuu.com. Then you just copy and paste the html code into your blog! It's REALLY easy!
Russell-- You're such a sweetheart! I love it when you stop by my blog; you always give me the BIG head! LOL Seriously, when ARE you going to get some 'free' time!!
Lenn--Just trying to keep up with you my Dear! It's a daily challenge! Thanks so much for the kind words.
John--Our marketing department creates the bulk of this. We have to extract the data, then put it into these awesome grafts, then upload into MS Publisher... (see the rest on Barb's!) Or marketing department simply ROCKS--one of the major reasons to work for them here in Charlotte! They simply can't be beaten! Most companies take the data, put it in their advertising and don't allow the agents any flexibility with the data that is contained within the documents.
Michael--Thanks! Charlotte is a fabulous place to live, work and play!
Michele--Thank you! You go right ahead! I don't mind a bit!
Jane--Like Russell, you can stop by my blog ANY day--my head just keeps getting bigger and bigger! LOL Seriously, thank you SO much!
Cherise--I have to agree wholeheartedly--not just because I own my own business but, because it's the grassroots of our wonderful country. Supporting small business is imperative--especially during these economic times!
You did a great job of representing our area. I found the info useful and well displayed.
Dorie--Thank you so much! I should have been posting these all along, huh?!
Joshua--Thanks!
Bill--Thank you! See the above comments to Barb & John. That'll tell you how it's done! The data extraction from MLS is the most time consuming--for sure!
Lottie--Thanks so much! Anything I can do to get the word out that we're finally on the rebound!
Margaret--Thanks! We do have so many publicized articles regarding the awards Charlotte receives and I love sharing it--every time I receive notification from our Chamber of Commerce, it goes right into my database!!
Thanks Honeycutts! Don't we live in THE most fabulous area?!
Charlotte's got it going on! So does Debe......how you doing? Can't believe it's been almost 2 months since Atlanta!
Debe it's a highly professional way to put together a market statistic package
There's always a debate among North Carolinians about which is the best NC city: Charlotte or Raleigh...this info certainly points to Charlotte! I'm located in the middle (geographically): Greensboro. I love Charlotte. Great post.
Great info, but what was really great was the issuu.com connection. Was just trying to figure out how to embed a multipage pdf.
AWESOME!
Debe - this is really good information here, and I am sure your readers appreciate all this information. Great post and congrats on the feature!
Debe,
Cool facts and wonderful stats pages. looks like they are coming from MLS data, great and looks very professional.
I really like the way you displayed the market report. It sounds so easy and is very impressive.
Debe ... you always have amazing Localism Posts .. Thank you!
Not to worry. If I'm going to put that much work in a document, it's going on one of my static web pages, not on a blog.
Hi Debe, very nice post as usual... You rock girl. I too like the scrolling market report. How can I do that?? I'd love to know.
Thanks,
Patricia/Seacoast NH

And how about your new museum? Of course, it overshadows all of the other "cultural" establishments in the city...
;^ )
Hi Debe -- And don't forget about the incredible weather and friendliness of the locals! Very cool how you embedded this report in there.
Yes.... add #1 Realtor - Debe Maxwell. Do it!
Really like the sheets. I went over and checked out their site. Quite interesting. I will take another look. Great statistics.
Thank you
Debe,
How does Charlotte achieve all that? Some people over there obviously know what they are doing, how to run a productive city. It'll likely climb higher on the largest city list soon.
Great work putting together this market report Debe. Your facts and figures are an excellent way of showing off all the strengths of Charlotte!
Debe, you are truly the queen of Charlotte and having the most outstanding market reports. You raise the bar and then share with us how you do it! Another very well deserved feature.
Ann: Great--busy but, great! I miss you girl!
Val: Thanks--it takes a great team at Charlotte's top real estate firm to pull it all together!! :-)
Athina: And, believe it or not, I've actually lived in all 3 cities at some point during my life! I wound up here in Charlotte 25 years ago and just LOVE it!
John: Well, everything happens for a reason--guess it was meant to be that you stopped by my blog! Good luck with it--it's really very simple!
Sharon: Thanks, girl! We don't have the lovely coast that you do but, our city is gorgeous! With lakes and proximity to the beaches and the mountains, we've got it going on here in Charlotte!
Jon: Yes, we extract the data from MLS (the time-consuming part of the process!) and then they're graphed in Excel. You can do this too!
Tammie: I promise--it is! Thankfully I didn't have to do it all myself! LOL
Pippa: Thank you so much! You do as well--I've always loved your appealing colors and fonts!
Debe, This is a great localism post. Consumers relocating to Charlotte should call you for their real estate needs.
