ARDREY KELL HIGH SCHOOL
On August 25, 2006, the doors to one of the areas hottest schools opened. It hardly seems possible that nearly 4 years have passed since the first students entered the doors of this gleaming, state-of-the-art school. The school's first principal, Mr. Mike Mathews, former principal of one of Charlotte's most popular schools, Providence High School, took the reigns. With the highest of expectations from the community, Mr. Mathews selected incredibly qualified staff and has seen to it that the schools athletics are top notch as well.
The staff's focus is on TEACHING! The teachers are well-prepared and deliver exceptional, quality lessons both in the classroom and out of the classroom. With increasingly challanging courses, the students have proven that the teachers are most certainly doing their jobs, placing among the highest in the state in their NC End of Course tests.
Ardrey Kell has exceeded expectations from all facets--parents, students, teachers, staff and the community as a whole--Ardrey Kell High School is rapidly becoming a premier high school in the state of North Carolina!
