365 Things to Do in Charlotte NC - Theatre - The 39 Steps
From the novel by John Buchan and the film by Alfred Hitchcock; Adapted by Patrick Barlow, The 39 Steps is one of Broadway's longest running comedy thrillers. The setting--a runaway freight train. The interesting aspect of this play is that only four actors play the part of over 150 characters! This play is from an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon. You won't want to miss this event on 9/29/2010 at the Actor's Theatre of Charlotte.
**Note that admission is 'pay what you can.' Your support of local theatre is very important to its livlihood and is much appreciated.

Debe, you make me want to drive up to Charlotte to see The 39 Steps! Never heard of it but will definitely check it out.
This looks like a fun series you are starting, Deb. Wonder if I can find 365 things to do in L.A. :)
Hi Debe...this sounds like a neat play to see, I'm sure after blogging about this play many folks will go to see the "39 Steps"..
Cheers
Debe, this play was also performed in our Greenbrier Valley Theatre this year. A great play and really enjoyed it.
I love the "pay what you can" approach that little community theaters adopt. It makes it affordable to bring the whole family without breaking the bank. Enjoy the 39 Steps Debe!
