SouthPark :: North Carolina's Premier Live/Work Community

Charlotte NC SouthParkSouthPark, a prestigious Charlotte NC address, offers a variety of housing styles, ranging from 1950's ranch homes in Beverly Woods and Barclay Downs to newer multi-million-dollar homes in neighborhoods like Quail Hollow, Carmel Park, Foxcroft, Deering Oaks and the exclusive gated communities of Morrocroft and nearby Seven Eagles

The Harris YMCA, located at the corner of Sharon and Quail Hollow Roads, a legacy from the Morrison/Harris family, is a popular spot for those living in and around SouthPark Charlotte NC.   SouthPark is the second-largest business district in the state (developed primarily by the Bissell and Harris families), with over 40,000 workers, and is one of the most popular live/work communities in Charlotte.  Impressive office buildings are spread throughout the area, including the alluring Rotunda with its dramatic fountains.  Several hotels are also located in SouthPark.  Some would compare SouthPark to Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood.

SouthPark Mall is known as the best shopping experience in the city, some traveling from far away just to visit this well-known mall.  With over 100 fabulous stores such as Dillards, Belk, Nordstrom, Neiman-Marcus, Macy’s, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Ann Taylor, Tiffany’s, Carlyle Jewelers and Finks Jewelers (just to name a few), you simply must experience SouthPark Mall.

Charlotte NC SouthPark Phillips PlaceSouthPark Charlotte NC is home to a newer, upscale shopping plaza, Phillips Place, which also houses Charlotte’s Post Philips Place, upscale, furnished, gated rental apartments for those who need temporary housing.  Phillips Place has a Dean & Deluca’s, the prestigious Palm Restaurant, Modern Spa & Salon and a host of other shops and restaurants, as well as a movie theatre.

Also home to the amphitheater which hosts Charlotte Symphony’s Summer Pops concerts, a popular evening event that are free to attendees, is located on the SouthPark Mall campus.  SouthPark's signature event, the annual Christmas tree lighting, takes place on Thanksgiving Day in the early evening and features caroling and a visit from Santa himself.  SouthPark is the home to several Fortune 500 companies such as Nucor, National Gypsum, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Consolidated, Piedmont Natural Gas and J.A. Jones Construction Company.  Maersk, Bank of America Mortgage, First Citizens Bank, and CSX have major divisional operations located in SouthPark as well.

Debe your post on South Park is rather informative.   I like the way you give visitors the opportunity to search for homes by neighborhoods.
