Charlotte Real Estate Market Report April 1, 2011 vs. October 1, 2010
Ten of the local Charlotte MLS areas are featured below, highlighting the current Charlotte real estate market trends. Note that listings are down, contracts are up in all areas but, list prices are still down a bit. Area 8 (Including the Wesley Heights and Coulwood areas) are up significantly in Contracts but, list prices are significantly down from the end of Q3, 2010. This is partially due to the increased number of distressed properties in the area. The remaining area statistics obviously reflect positively that the Charlotte NC real estate market is, indeed, showing improvement.
(THE best Charlotte home search available - no kidding!)

Glad to see the market thaere is showing good signs. We always watch what we like to call our feeder markets for folks maybe heading our way for a winter home or retirement residence!
Glad to hear it. I compared my 1st qtr to last years 1st qrt and found improvement. Now I'm going to look at Oct.
