Kodak ActiveRain June Mobile Marketing Challenge: QR Code Contest Entry
This ad was placed on our website and the card to the right ------->
is a copy of the business cards to give to the office walk-ins and hand out in the nearby communities.
Since our office is located in neighboring Elizabeth, the tours are easily facilitated by our staff. We can take along our iPads for viewing the properties in their entirety online when showing, making our tours completely GREEN!
Each of the maps that the QR codes lead to have links to the detailed listings and tours of the homes on the tour.
Savvy June Green Bike Tour!
In case you missed the super Savvy green bike tours in Midwood the last few weeks? Well, it’s not too late to partake! The tours will be held during the week and we’ll even extend this opportunity into the first weekend in July. The Midwood homes on the current tour are simply spectacular!
If you’re interested in living in an incredibly walkable/bike-able community, you will love the historic Midwood community. Load up those bikes and pop on over to Midwood Park. We’ll take that Savvy bike tour to view the properties below.
If you have a smartphone, you’ll love Savvy’s green bike tour – simply download the barcode scanner (free, of course) and scan the maps contained in the QR codes below for directions to each home. OR you can download the full map below also. Instructions are below for downloading the scanner for your phone.
In the event you don’t have a smartphone, just let us know when you call to schedule your tour and we’ll be sure to bring you a paper copy of the map below!
(THE best Charlotte home search available - no kidding!)

Debe great job, very good way to see the historic Midwood community
Gosh Debe! I love this....what a great presentation of properties that are all within biking distance!!! I have suggested this for a feature....
Thanks, David! This is one of the coolest communities in the city! I just attended an inspection there today for a client and every time I'm there, I REALLY want to move!
Thank you, Lori! We're a very 'active' city and walkability is huge to alot of folks moving to the area. So, we thought we'd give it the bike twist and I've gotten more comments on this! It's a fun way to show properties, for sure!
Great use of the QR code. What a unique tour.
Very unique Debe! Great job -
which program did you use to create your codes?
Debe, I suggested this one. What a great idea. I love the graphics here too. This is so well done. Do you mind if I use this idea?
Debe
I so need to get using more QR codes. What a great example of doing it right Debe.
Debe,
Love this. Excellent idea and I love the maps. You guys are doing a great job.
Debe, I sooo have to try this! I love cycling! I have to find an agent I can set this up with! I just made a quick read code the other day after Craig Daniels had a webinar about it! I just realized I could enter the AR QR contest, but I can't compete with this, I'm just happy to have made a QR code! But now, having seen this... }:D Bwaa hhaa hhaa haaa! Let me think about it.
Debe- Nice to meet you in Seattle at Raincamp. Great job on this tour. Your creativity amazes me.
This appears to be a very creative way using QR codes. I ponder if it might be as effective without them. Seems like a pleasant marketing campaign with or without them.
Now that is as creative as I have ever seen someone get with QR codes.
Debe, i need to get a new bike and come on down! This is presented so well and is so different than what I have seen...even if one does not bike, they'll remember your name because it is so catchy! best of luck with it.
Debe - This is AWESOME!!! I know Chase would love to join you on a bike tour.
Debe,
Thanks for this blog. You've stimulated some marketing thoughts for me... g
Debe, you are one amazing and clever agent! Always on the cutting edge of everything......
❦ Pretty cool idea Debe! Now you got two birds in with one stone post. Info on QR codes and hyper-local post to boot! That's why we call you the Queen of Bloggers!
I lunched today with a group of Realtors® and none of them knew anything about QR codes. But as soon as they heard about it you could see the look on their faces ~ QR codes will catch on. Fun to kinda be at the beginning ~ it will be neat to see where and how they end up!
Pamela
Thanks, Ellie! Midwood is one of our most popular communities and Savvy dominates there. So, what better way can you think to showcase the fabulous homes there?!
Debbie: http://goqr.me/ It's SUPER easy!
Tammie: Thank you so much--and NO, absolutely NOT! You help yourself and let me know how it works for you!
Tom: Well, thank you! I resisted long enough! LOL
Larry: I'm telling you, I work with some wicked talent! I'm SOO blessed!
Peg: What a great idea for a stager--you can couple with MORE than one agent--what a great idea! Go for it girl!
Debi: Great to meet you too--and thanks so much! This is one of the best parts of our job--thinking outside the box!
Mike: True but, when you view the QR codes, the maps can be opened in your Navigation system on your phone--it's great if you don't have anyone with you and just want to 'drive-by' using the maps to get you there!
Tim: Thanks! That's a huge compliment! I've seen some good stuff out there!
Ginny: Come on down! We'd LOVE to have you! It's getting a bit hot but, the basket on the front of the Savvy bike has plenty of room for a little cooler to keep ice water for hydration!
Debbie: Thanks but, I am the lucky one--for SURE!
Michelle: Send him on up! That would be awesome--he could soon lead the tour!
Gordon: That's awesome--and what I LOVE about this place! I learn SO many new tricks here. Can't wait to see what you've come up with!
Barbara: Thanks but, I just surround myself with talent!! THEY make me look good! :-)
Jane: You're so sweet! Thank you!
Pamela: Well, you're on the cutting edge in your area, for sure! QR codes are definitely catching on and I love seeing them on t-shirts and other things around town that prompt you to 'like' a FB page or something similar. There's SO much you can do with them.
Debe, I like how you are using the QR codes, and the bike tour is very, very creative. Suggested!
Hi Debe - this is an awesome idea, and what a great way to really experience the community!!! Hope it is hugely successful, and will look forward to reading more about it!
Debe your ad LOOKS GREAT. I have to suggest this one for a feature also. And thanks for sharing the link in one of your comments. I need to get on the QR-Code bandwagon ASAP. Great post.
Debe: Congratulation on placing second! Very creative use of QR codes and I adore how you combined it with a bike tour. I downloaded your lynkee program and tried to scan your codes but it said it did not detect them. Must be because it is on the screen.
Wow....that presentation is off the chart !! Congratulations on winning the contest. Have a great day.
