Motivational Monday - Soulful Quotes

While there are many theories explaining why we dream, no one really fully understands their purpose, let alone how to interpret their meaning.

Dream interpretation is the process of assigning meaning to dreams. In many ancient societies, dreaming was considered a supernatural communication or perhaps, a means of divine intervention. Oftentimes dreams are ‘interpreted’ by people who claim to have spiritual powers.

I always feel that they are the result of something that is heavy on your mind, sometimes from the depth of your soul.

Good morning Debe Maxwell, CRS, sometimes, I find messages in my dreams, sometimes, they make no sense at all.  Trying to interpret them is like solving a puzzle.
I love the quote by Les Brown, I have a plaque with that quote on my desk. Have a great week!

Good morning again Debe. I believe in dreams. I like the quotes as well and my favorite is the Eleanor Roosevelt one.

I do the same thing, Beth Atalay! It's very often a message in something that I went to sleep thinking about. And, yes, love that quote too - so powerful and true!

Funny but, it wasn't until a few years ago, I thought I had an original quote that I cited to my boys every single day of their lives until college - "If you can dream it, you CAN do it!" Well, I later found out Walt Disney said it but, I swear I said it first! LOL

Like you, I totally believe in dreams (obviously) and I strive to achieve them too, Sheila Anderson!

Happy Monday!

Helo Debe, I had Les Brown on my desk and look at it every morning then look at my Monthly goals to work on.

Dream in your sleep are very interesting but mine most of the time make no sense to me.  Dreaming while I am awake is more fun.

Hello Debe - if dreams equal good and then nightmares are bad.  Should we simply turn off when we sleep?  I don't think so.  What can we learn?

Morning Debe.

I know I dream, however I rarely remember them when I wake up.

Hi Debe,
Ever since childhood I've been fascinated by dreams. There was a time in my early life when I thought I'd become a scientist and study the brain.  Well, that didn't happen but I suppose a career in real estate sales is somewhat of a study of the human brain.  LOL

My father was a dreamer and I used to make fun of him when I was young, now I am old and realize he had the right idea... if you dream it is a form of visualization.... hence you can achieve it, Endre
