Charlotte Real Estate and More

Another Lake Wylie Gem Uncovered

Another Lake Wylie Gem Uncovered

I love showing and selling, listing and selling in the Lake Wylie area. The area is just booming right now as we watch the Steele Creek/Lake Wylie area grow and expand beyond what we thought the area would be 40 years ago! The first home I bought when I moved to Charlotte was in this area and we literally felt like we lived in the Boonies! Now Lake Wylie/Steele Creek is remarkably close-in with a shorter commute to Uptown than most areas of Charlotte.

We took this shot during our inspection last week - the house is situated on a great lot but, the previous owners had allowed the brush/trees to fill in the majority of the backyard, leaving very little of the spectacular lake views visible from the home. BOY, did we ever uncover a hidden gem for our client!

We are nearly through the Due Diligence period of this fabulous home and should be Closing on it later in the month. I am confident that by July 4, the owner will have those amazing views of the lake back! I will pay them a visit and snap a shot of the 'new view!'

This one was for a buyer - they wanted lakefront SO badly and somehow, this home was looked over by others. We had little competition when they Offered! It's the perfect buyer, partnered with the perfect home & lot. I'm so excited for them!

Morning again Debe.

I'm looking forward to seeing the after photo, there is a lot going on in the photo you provided.

Good morning Debe - that sounds like a real gem.  It is great to be close to a metro area but still feel like you are away from it all.  I can see how that view will be spectacular.

Good morning, Debe Maxwell, CRS clearing the visual barrier of the lake will increase the value of that property by "big bucks".... even the birds in their home will enjoy it!!! congratulations on this "special find".... but that's what potential buyers can expect from Debe Maxwell....

Good morning Debe. If I were the buyer, I am shopping for trimming tools or a great landscaper. Either way, the view is about to be restored. Enjoy your day!

Some tree trimming will be in order.

Debe, close to Uptown and a soon to be incredible lakefront view. Yes please! Can't wait to see what your buyers do to expand their view. A hidden gem for sure!

HI Debe Maxwell, CRS - That will be a wonderful view.  I can't wait to see the before and after.

When I moved to Sedona 16 years ago, we could see great views of the red rocks. Now in many of the areas, the pine trees are creeping up and we are losing some of the views. Unfortunately, we cannot cut them down or top them off.

Sounds like a prize! While I love the greenery I would much prefer the lake views. It will be fun for the new owners to rediscover the waterfront. I look forward to seeing the photos!

Debe, congrats on this pending sale, and hopefully those buyers have plans on doing some trimming to give them a view.
