Charlotte Restaurant Week® JAN 17 - 26, 2020 - 10 HOT New Participants

365 Things to do in Charlotte - Charlotte Restaurant Week® JAN 17 - 26, 2020

Twice a year, I share information on Charlotte’s popular Queens Feast (otherwise known as Restaurant Week®). This week-long event allows you a fantastic opportunity to try new area restaurants…or re-visit some of your favorites. Pay $30 or $35 (not including tax or gratuity) for a 3-course prix fixe meal. This month, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from over 140 restaurants in the Charlotte Metro area.

For the first Queen’s Feast in 2020, I’m going to share the 10 restaurants that are NEW to the Queen’s Feast event. This is their first time to participate so, be sure to book early as the new restaurants typically sell out quickly.

Remember, participating restaurants are spread over a 10-county area so, if you prefer to view the list by area and don’t care about the new participants, we have that link for you! OR, you can search restaurants alphabetically here.

365 Things to do in Charlotte NC

Tips & tricks of Restaurant Week® include:

  • As I mentioned, prix fixe price is $30 or $35 per person.
  • Queen’s Feast specials are available for DINNER ONLY.
  • Check the operating hours of the individual restaurants when booking as participating restaurants are open at different times.
  • Menus are subject to change without notice, based on product availability.
  • If you are unable to keep your reservation for any reason, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND CANCEL as soon as possible to give other diners and the restaurant the opportunity to enjoy this favorite Charlotte event!
  • Dietary restrictions? You will want to check with the individual restaurant(s) which you plan to dine to ascertain if/how they adjust menu items. It is suggested that you do so prior to your arrival.
  • Coupons may not be accepted during Charlotte Restaurant Week®. If having your coupon accepted is important to you, check with the restaurant prior to dining.
  • Reservations are highly recommended.

Here are the new restaurants participating in this century’s first Queen’s Feast:

  1. BALLANTYNE/REA FARMS: Sensi Italian Restaurant ($35/person)
  2. BELMONT: The Bottle Tree ($35/person)
  3. FORT MILL: Spice Asian Bistro ($30/person)
  4. HICKORY: Charolais Steakhouse ($35/person)
  5. MYERS PARK: Volo Ristorante ($35/person)
  6. SOUTH END: Indaco ($35/person)
  7. STEELE CREEK: Harry’s Grill & Tavern ($35/person)
  8. UPTOWN: Cicchetti ($35/person)
  9. UPTOWN: Estampa Guacha Brazilian Steakhouse ($35/person)
  10. UPTOWN: La Belle Helene ($35/person)

*One of Charlotte’s finest, and one of our our favorite ‘old’ restaurants, Vivace permanently closed their doors at the end of 2019. Vivace offered the best patio dining in Charlotte with incredible views of Charlotte’s skyline. The restaurant, located in the ever-popular Midtown, positioned about a mile from Center City, just far enough to feature breathtaking views of our Uptown.

Midtown to Uptown Charlotte

We were sad to see Vivace closed but, wanted to share that we have also dined at their ‘sister’ restaurant in the Ballantyne/Stonecroft area and were just as impressed. Located in the Stonecroft Shopping Center (beside the theatre), Civetta offers a fine Italian menu and an extensive wine list as well. Even though Civetta was featured in last year’s July Queen’s Feast, the restaurant is not quite a year old and is ‘new’ to most. We highly recommend Civetta.

Debe restaurant weeks are a great way to try out new restaurants, and experience excellent food at a reduced price.

I find that food and wine are a universal way to bring people together to share what they have in common.

This is timely information to share with area residents and visitors.

Good Morning Debe!

Oh the joy you bring to others not familiar with the area. Your expertise and staying current is to be applauded. When it comes to real estate sales you exceed everyones expectations and you have testimonials to prove it. Something every potential buyer should do when they work with you is to sit down and eat at one of the fine restaurants and new establishments you shared.

Hi Debe:

Well if I were in the area I know I would enjoy this.

Ironically we are having our San Diego Restaurant Week starting today and running through the 26th...and our event is twice a year, too. So many opportunities at these foodie events!
